JJ Tabone

As CSI's Finance Director, JJ Tabone serves as the second to the Chief Financial Officer in the areas of financial planning and analysis. JJ is a seasoned and compassionate business leader with 25 years of leadership experience spanning both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. He began his career in the hospitality industry, where he held executive-level roles overseeing complex operations, revenue strategy, marketing, and team development. His work included partnerships with large real estate investment trusts and smaller ownership groups, with direct oversight of annualized revenues exceeding $70 million.

In recent years, JJ has brought his leadership skills into the nonprofit space, most recently serving with Project Sanctuary, a national organization that provides therapeutic retreats and long-term support to military families. In this role, JJ led finance, HR, compliance, and operations—supporting the organization's mission to reconnect and empower families toward healing. He is known for building systems that foster transparency, streamline workflows, and support growth while remaining aligned with organizational values.

JJ earned his MBA in Finance from Louisiana State University – Shreveport and continues to apply a strategic, mission-driven approach to leadership. He is passionate about creating sustainable impact through thoughtful financial stewardship, servant leadership, and inclusive team culture.

Outside of work, JJ finds joy in spending time with his wife and their two children, running, golfing, and cheering on the New England Patriots. He is also deeply committed to community service and has volunteered with organizations including New Beginnings of Central Florida, where he taught life and job skills classes to individuals experiencing homelessness. He currently serves as Treasurer for the I80 Trucker/Traveler Ministries and as Finance Committee Chair for DuBois Lakeside Church. His volunteer efforts have also included work with Lasagna Love, Meals on Wheels, and Ronald McDonald House, reflecting a lifelong dedication to giving back.
