About The Clean Slate Initiative
The Clean Slate Initiative is the national organization working to pass and implement laws that automate the sealing of eligible arrest and conviction records for people who have completed their sentence and remained crime-free.
Clean Slate laws have passed in 13 states and Washington, D.C., creating a path for more than 18 million people to receive full or partial record sealing and expanded access to work, housing, and opportunity.
