Join us for a dynamic salon-style conversation at the intersection of policy, workforce, and second chances. Hosted during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference as a third-party workshop, this timely event will bring together voices from Congress, the business sector, and the movement for economic justice to explore how record sealing is reshaping the American workforce.
Millions of talented people are locked out of opportunity due to old records — even after they’ve paid their dues. Clean Slate policies are changing that. This conversation will spotlight how public and private sector leaders are driving a nationwide shift toward opportunity and economic mobility through automatic record sealing.
This event is hosted by The Clean Slate Initiative, a nonprofit that works nationwide to pass and implement laws that automatically seal eligible records for people who’ve remained crime-free, removing barriers to jobs, housing, and education.
Space is limited! Use the form here to RSVP by Wednesday, September 17.
